With a relatively small team, we have had great success and built our name by delivering high quality composites internationally through timely and accurate shipments.
We are currently focused on hiring an experienced, thorough, fast-paced and highly intelligent team player to manage the CNC Department to fulfill orders and manage all daily duties.
A successful candidate for our team will have prior experience working with vectors and nesting software for CNC work, has excellent computer skills and intuition, works intelligently and accurately with minimum supervision and will have a thorough knowledge of best practices in repeat CNC work and can demonstrate.
We're looking for a supervisor who is a strong leader, has excellent communication skills and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment during hot summer months.
Most importantly, the ideal candidate for this position is someone who:
- Works quickly, intelligently, and accurately in a critical team setting - - Has 3
years experience in supervising others in a production/warehousing/shipping setting with proven results - - Accepts, gives, and implements feedback well - - Has excellent attendance (this is non-negotiable) - - Takes pride in their superior work and dependability - - Is familiar with core materials and/or fiberglass layups and processes.

Responsibilities:
Run a variety of specialty 3 axis CNC machines to process core materials, ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time.
Maintain a clean and safe production environment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and plant standards.
Adhere to and improve all existing established procedures and packaging guidelines for kits and other CNC work.
Communicate effectively with team, including other supervisors and managers, both verbally and written.
Keep track of the inventory of raw material needed for kit production, as well as updating and maintaining logs for all CNC-related tools, bits, and accessory tools.
Making smart recommendations on new policies, procedures, workflow or equipment for improved performance, speed, and cost.
Regularly perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot all CNC equipment including routers, perforators, 5 axis machine to come.
Perform various general non-professional 'handyman' type maintenance duties as needed to keep facility, office, and warehouse in working order.
Join other production processes and trash removal as an added hand when needed.
Operate a forklift skillfully around facility while avoiding damage to certain highly fragile inventory items and walls.
Supervise the activities of helpers and additional workers in CNC area.
Anticipate days and weeks ahead and proactively solve problems.
Converting files or physical templates from customers into useable vectors using computer programs and digitizing tables.
